“Shopping and cafe culture adventure in Garosugil, a well-known hot place of the Seoul, Gangnam area.”
So I was feeling a little nostalgic about my trip to Seoul, South Korea in spring two years ago and decided to post this up.
This is the place where the lyrics of PSY’s “Gangnam Style” are best understood. Gangnam’s hot place, Garosugil, is a unique shopping and restaurant street that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world. Sometimes referred to as “Europe in Seoul”, Garosugil is a trendy tree-lined street filled with various sophisticated and fancy cafes, restaurants, fashion, beauty and lifestyle shops.
School Food is located in Garosugil, near Sinsa Station and is one of the branches of a popular restaurant that offers Korean snacks and various dishes. A definite must try.
GETTING TO GAROSU-GIL: Sinsa Station (Line 3), Exit 8. Walk straight for three blocks (approximately 250m) and turn left onto Garosu-gil.
