Set foot on Perth soil and you will instantly be charmed with a relaxed vibe, even when you’re standing right in the heart of the city, Perth’s Central Business District (CBD). Cool winds and butterfly kisses from the sun, it is absolutely enjoyable and relaxing to stroll up and down the streets during the day. But, no day is perfect without a good cup of coffee paired with good food. We visited a few cafes during our stay (mainly to curb my caffeine withdrawal) and we would like to share our reviews with you.
90 King St, Perth WA 6000, Australia
This cafe is located on King’s Street. It’s small and cozy with high tables and chairs by the window.
Arcade 189, 7/189 William St, Northbridge, WA 6003, Australia
Monster Milkshakes. Need we say more?
If you’re thinking of visiting this cafe, go with an empty stomach. One Krispy Kreme milkshake will fill you up like a whole fucking meal. I know it’s not healthy to have dessert instead of a proper meal, but hey, YOLO!
100 Lake St, Northbridge WA 6003, Australia
When I first heard about this cafe, I thought the name sounded cute. This was the cafe that I was looking forward to visit the whole time we were in Perth. And it didn’t disappoint. Of all the cafes we went to, this cafe served the best Flat White.
100 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000, Australia
This is one of the most unique and nicest-looking cafe that I’ve come across. You seriously can’t miss it. The exterior is just superb. Their exterior walls were fully lined with potted plants.
Our choice of breakfast was as per the suggestion of a friendly (and handsome) waiter so I’m guessing that must be the reason why I couldn’t recall the names of the dishes. We also sat at the outdoor yard with fake grass. It was a cool morning and you can see people walk by, probably on their way to work, above you.
There were many other cafes that we didn’t manage to visit due to time constrain. Well, one can only eat that much in a day, right?
Till next post.
